John Pascal was a most successful young scientist, and a racing shell rowing master.  John did a terrific job solving the X-ray structure of the toxin called ebulin and then solved the structure of TB-RBP.  In 2002 he moved to Harvard to work in Tom Ellenberger’s lab where I’m sure he is cutting a wide swath.  I’m sure he is also charming the Boston ladies.  He told me the winter of 02-03 is mighty harsh for a country boy from South Carolina, but he is persevering.  He also sent a couple of photos of himself at the oars, which you can see here and here.
