Maya is our first ICMB student, and she is a jewel.  She has worked on a number of projects, including yFMO (where she found a sequence error in the yeast genome sequence that had some interesting consequences) and the X-ray structure of bacterial dsbC.

 

Recently, Maya became Mamma Maya – here she is with daughter Julia.

 

Naturally, babies start to grow, so here are some update shots as of April 2003.  Maya and Julia in the wild flowers, and a close up of Julia; that is one beaming baby!.
